Setup printed and email receipt templates

How to customise store receipts and customise branding on digital documents and email receipt

Printed receipt template

Printed receipts are used on the POS only. Go to back office Settings > Stores to add a single or multiple receipt templates. If you have one consistent brand for your physical shop and website, you'll only need to create one as multiple locations can be assigned to a template. Tap the Default Template to setup your brand.

Change the receipt template name if required, assign to a store(s) and add your business logo (png or jpg only). It must be an image suitable for thermal printing so a high contrast or black and white logo is better suited.

You can add additional comments in the Footer Text to be printed on your receipts. This can be something as simple as "Thanks for shopping with us!", or a brief summary of your returns policy.

Tick the boxes to indicate which of the optional fields you want to also display on the receipt. Tap Save to create/save the template.

The VAT number added to the back office Settings > My account page is displayed on your receipt. The store name, prefix, address and contact details from the assigned store will be also be displayed on your receipt.

Digital document and email receipt template

Email receipts such as POS email receipts and online order confirmation emails are branded with your logo, colour scheme, address, and social media handles. Digital documents such as sales order PDFs, Saledock generated invoices and purchase orders display your logo and social scheme.

Go to back office Settings > Customise to add a single or multiple customisation templates. If you have one consistent brand for your physical shop and website, you'll only need to create one as multiple locations can be assigned to a template. Tap the Default Template to setup your brand.

Add your social media handles, logo (png or jpg only) and set the height of the logo (we recommend 50px if the logo is long and thin).

Next from the colour picker, select a primary and secondary colour theme. On the email receipts, these colours populate background colour blocks so these colours must be readable against white text.

Business information added to the back office Settings > My account page are the business details used in the footer of each email receipt template.
