Card machine setup - Dojo/Paymentsense

Requesting integrated payments

The first step is to contact your Dojo or Paymentsense representative so request integrated payments with Saledock. Once activated you'll receive email containing a URL and API key that you'll use to connect the card machine to Saledock in a later step.


Setting up the Dojo Go card machine

View Dojo's How to install the Dojo Go documentation to get started. Once the device has been activated tap , then Settings and enter the supervisor code. Select Card machine mode and select Pay at counter. This switches the device to integrated payment mode.


Setting up the Paymentsense card machine

View the Paymentsense user guide to get started. The guide also outlines how to take payments, process refunds, run reports, change passwords and covers troubleshooting issues.

Once setup you'll need to change the default mode on the card reader. Tap F4, enter the supervisor code and select OFF as the standalone mode. Tap the Next button and the card machine will reboot to change the mode. This switches the device to integrated payment mode.

Connect with Dojo or Paymentsense

Once the card machine has been setup for integrated payments, the next step is to connect the card machine to Saledock. Both Dojo and Paymentsense use the same process when connecting the card machine to Saledock.

Go to the Payment Methods page in the back office settings.

Select Card

Select Dojo/Paymentsense from the Payment Integration dropdown, this will generate a new section for you to paste in your Host URL and API Key - If you do not have these, Dojo/Paymentsense will be able to provide them
